Marco de Comunicación, Spain’s best rated and most awarded PR agency, incorporates Manex Rekarte into its team as creative director. The creative of British origin is a specialist in communication, strategic marketing, business development and audiovisual production, advertising, digital and events.

Rekarte will be responsible for directing and driving the creative development of Marco de Comunicación’s B2C clients through its new Marco! Lifestyle brand and digital agency Influencia. He will also be in charge of implementing strategies for the growth of existing accounts and for new national and international business for the MdC Group’s three specialised agencies (Marco! Lifestyle, Marco de Comunicación Consulting and Influencia).

A creative advertising graduate from Bournemouth University in the UK, Rekarte specialised in Audiovisual Production at the ESCIVI school of cinema and video, as well as Marketing and Finance at the School of Industrial Organisation. For the last three years, he has been Chief Commercial Strategist at Beyond Business, travelling between Madrid, London and New York.

He previously worked as a production director at Andtonic, as well as marketing and business director at the Scandinavian group, LELO Ltd, launching and managing its lifestyle brands for Southern Europe (FOREO, INTIMINA and LELO). He also has media experience as a presenter, producer and content manager at EITB, EsRadio and the Donostia International Festival, where he carried out PR and translator roles. He speaks English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Basque.
