MARCO reinforces its Public Affairs and Stakeholder Outreach services by hiring an institutional and political consultancy expert.

MARCO, the most awarded agency in the last decade, specialised in brand building and reputation management, has announced the incorporation of Javier Pascual as Senior Consultant in Reputation Management. With his arrival, the agency continues to strengthen its capabilities in Public Affairs and Stakeholders Outreach. Javier is an expert in institutional relations, along with Diane Vey, who recently joined the agency and previously worked as Head of the Cabinet of the Mayor’s Office in the 18th District of Paris and in the cabinet of the French Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.

With more than fifteen years of experience in Public Affairs and Stakeholders Outreach, Javier Pascual joins MARCO after being part of the team of advisors in the Cabinet of President Pedro Sánchez, with the former Chief of Staff of the Cabinet Office of the Presidency of the Government, Iván Redondo, at the head. He worked in the Department of National Affairs, where he had the role of advisor, and was in charge of issues related to the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, and the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.

Javier Pascual began his journalistic career in various radio and television media, such as Cadena COPE and Popular Televisión, and was a member of the Advisory Board of Castilla La Mancha Media and RTVE. This experience led him to work as Head of Press in the Diputación de Guadalajara for almost 5 years, developing his political profile.

An important part of Pascual’s career is linked to Iberian America. In the areas of institutional and corporate communications, he has been Director of the Business Council Alliance for Iberian America (CEAPI). Previously, he was in charge of the delegations in Nicaragua and Costa Rica for the EFE news agency. During this period, he coordinated relations with the administrations, institutions and media with interests in these countries. He was a member of EFE’s Board of Directors for five years.

In the business sector, Javier Pascual was previously the Corporate Director of the Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI). For several years, he was in charge of the corporate communication strategy and policy of the parent company and of the 16 companies that make up the Group.
